DAYdeLIGHT is a cosmetic that uses St. John's wort extract, a natural product. In laboratory-level results using raw materials, collagen synthesis increasing effect and collagen degrading enzyme inhibitory effect were shown. Based on these results, a patent for ‘Photoreactive cosmetic composition for improving skin elasticity or improving skin wrinkles and method for manufacturing the same(10-2020-0065458)' applied for. Even if DAYdeLIGHT is used alone, the skin can be improved, but the St. John’s wort extract contains Hypericin, a photosensitizer, so that when irradiated with red light (633nm, red light), it improves skin texture, reduces sebum secretion, and reduces acne. Therefore, you can see a more dramatic effect when used with commercially available LED masks. Indole-3-acetic acid (IAA), a photosensitizer, is used for acne treatment, seborrheic dermatitis injection, etc. DAYdeLIGHT and IAA were compared and clinically tested at the Department of Dermatology at Seoul National University Bundang Hospital to show similar effects to IAA or DAYdeLIGHT showed a better effect on skin texture and fine lines.
